Increased Student Motivation Effectiveness in Achieving Learning
Learning
effectiveness will be realized by a teacher if the teacher can play its role in
the classroom with a well and a maximum. The important role of a teacher in the
classroom is as educators, teachers, and coaches. This is in accordance with
the teacher's task is to educate themselves in the sense of continuing and
developing the values of life (affective), teaching in the sense of
continuing and developing the knowledge (cognitive), and train in the sense of develop
the skills of students (psychomotor). (Sukadi, 2016:17).
In developing
these tasks, every teacher needs to make efforts to realize the effectiveness
of learning. The author believes that the effectiveness of learning is a
condition where the students can spend all their potential in participating in
learning activities. It is for give learning process effectively to all
students.
To realize
this, one of the efforts that need to be done by every teacher is to build
students' motivation to learn. High students' motivation will stimulate
students to develop their potential in participating in learning activities. In
the build student motivation, Sukadi (2006: 37) reveals, "Motivation of students
does not appear so, but must be raised or built". Therefore, various
efforts to build student motivation to achieve learning effectiveness. Such
efforts can be conducted in stages as follows:
1.
Grow the good
life in the children
Every child has
a clean soul - has not been affected negative feelings such as feelings of
resentment, envy, and so on-so children tend to like the feel carefree and full
of joy. To create these conditions every teacher should greet each child with a
sense of fun, friendly, and quiet. He began with a jovial mood and learning
activities will keep students motivated to study hard and earnestly in
participating in learning activities.
2.
Students
considered friend
Often around us
there are still teachers who treat students like a robot that will obey the
formal instructions, instructions and standard. This is reflected in the bad
habits of a teacher who has a negative self-concepts, such as love without
limits scold the students, shouting in a language that is not feasible, and
punish students passed reasonable limits. These behaviors should be
discontinued as soon as possible and proportionally controlled so as not to
cause any victims of violence in the world of education.
