DESEMBER CERIA Pentingnya penilaian selain dari nilai ujian

Sekolah menjadi tempat formal dalam sebuah pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan sebuah system yang terstruktur dalam pendidikan, setiap tahun sekolah selalu memberikan penilaian  kepada peserta didiknya. Namun terkadang dalam setiap penilaian tersebut, Sekolah-sekolah masih banyak yang menilai kemampuan peserta didiknya hanya lewat ujian. Saya setuju dengan pernyataan pada essay nomor dua ini bahwa ”some people believe that school should not assess a student’s ability through exam. Instead assess them by their course work and project work over the whole academic year”. Alasannya karena menurut saya semua peserta didik berhak mendapat penilaian bukan hanya dari ujian, tapi juga dilihat dari proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan selama peserta didik itu berada disekolah tersebut.

            Penilaian peserta didik over the whole academic year sangat penting. Salah satunya karena jika sekolah menilai lewat over the whole academic year, maka walaupun hasil dari ujiannya kurang, tapi bisa ditambah dengan penilaian over the whole academic year. Disamping itu penilaian ini juga lebih baik karena tidak sepenuhnya menilai dari hasil tapi lebih kepada prosesnya. Dengan demikian maka semua peserta didik tidak harus mengejar hasil yang bagus dengan segala cara, tapi lebih kepada kejujuran dalam proses pembelajaran.

            Sekolah bukan tempat untuk menghasilkan sesuatu yang bagus dengan berbagai cara, tapi sekolah adalah tempat untuk proses pembelajaran. Sekolah menjadi garda terdepan dalam menciptakan para penerus bangsa. Tak heran peran sekolah dalam menilai kemampuan peserta didiknya harus melihat dari berbagai aspek. Bukan hanya dari aspek ujian saja, tapi harus menilai dari over the whole academic year.

School became a place of formal learning. By using a system that is structured in education, every school year always provide an assessment to learners. But sometimes in each of these assessments, schools still much to assess the ability of learners just passing the exam. I agree with the statement in the second essay is that "some people believe that school should not assess a student's ability through the exam. Instead assess them by Reviews their course work and project work over the whole academic year ". The reason is because I think all learners are entitled to appraisal not only of the exam, but also be seen from the learning process conducted over learners at school it is.

Assessment of learners over the whole academic year is very important. For one thing, if the judge schools through over the whole academic year, then even though the outcome of the test is less, but it can be coupled with an assessment over the whole academic year. Besides, this assessment is also better because it does not fully assess the results but rather to the process. Thus, all the learners do not have to chase a good result by all means, but rather the honesty in the learning process.

School is not the place to produce something good in many ways, but the school is a place for learning. Schools become the frontline in creating the nation's next. No wonder the school's role in assessing the ability of learners to be seen from various aspects. Not only from the aspect of the test, but have to assess over the whole academic year.
